I love to work with clients and help them to become the best version of themselves. I believe that my role in working with clients is to help them to reach their full potential and obtain the goals the goals they have for themselves or help them develop goals and purpose in their life.
I have been working in the mental health/substance abuse field for the past 12 years and specialize in substance abuse, relapse prevention, depression/mood, anxiety, emotional regulation, learning how to create balance in your life and develop better decision making skills. I also have a strong background working with people that have personality disorders and/or could benefit from skills associated with DBT that include mindfulness, distress tolerance/grounding skills, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness skills.
I am a licensed mental health counselor and a qualified supervisor for LMHC’s. I am a Masters Level Certified Addictions Practitioner and also internationally Certified in drug and alcohol counseling. I have also obtained certification as a Certified E-Therapist and available to work with clients all over the country using technology and various communication services. I am also a SAP (Substance Abuse Professional) for the DOT (Department of Transportation).
