Wellness Counseling Center offers Outpatient Treatment services at a convenient location in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and serves clients nationwide. The primary goal of our Outpatient Treatment Program is long-term abstinence from drugs and alcohol. This is goal is achieved through comprehensive evaluations and assessments, individualized treatment planning and group and individual counseling sessions with each client. Our counseling staff will help clients learn how to sustain their sobriety and be successful at implementing all of the tools of recovery in their lives.
Effective Treatment. Lasting Change.
Choices Recovery consists of two male and three female halfway houses in the Fort Lauderdale area. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable place for addicts in early recovery to be able to obtain long term recovery.
Maintaining long term recovery should be the main objective of all recovering people. The environment the recovering person surrounds themselves with plays a vital role in avoiding relapse and maintaining a sober lifestyle. Other recovering addicts/alcoholics may need to reside in a recovery friendly environment for a few months while putting into practice what they have learned.
The challenges associated with living in the “Real World” are significant in early recovery and early recovery is extremely fragile. The idea of a Sober living environment provides a supportive, safe place to live. Each day offers the newly recovering person a sense of security and camaraderie. While a family can be supportive, there is nothing like the support one addict/alcoholic can provide to another.
Recovering people generally go to halfway houses directly from treatment to support the work they have begun. Do not confuse a halfway house with treatment, it is not. It is only a clean and sober environment where recovering people can continue their process.
Insight To Recovery
A message from our founder:
Duly Focused on Treatment and Real-Life Recovery
It’s been proven.
Alcoholics and addicts who complete their recovery programs are statistically more successful than those who do not. The numbers also show that somewhere around half of all recovering addicts will relapse at some point.
But we recognize this problem, and we’ve done something about it.
To make transition into recovery smooth and effective, we integrate real-life recovery programs with your treatment – we don’t wait until your treatment is over.
Think of it as a head start down the road to a successful recovery.
You see, in order to maintain a healthy, clean and sober lifestyle, alcoholics and addicts need to continue with a program of recovery in real life.
At Insight to Recovery, our clients learn that addiction is a disease. They learn to self-diagnose their addiction. They learn and practice living skills, process their issues in groups with licensed therapists, identify relapse factors and participate in many other important clinical and recreational activities.
And they do all that DURING TREATMENT.
That’s what makes Insight to Recovery a benchmark treatment program. We introduce our clients into the real life recovery process earlier than most any other treatment center out there.
Furthermore, clients in treatment for substance abuse and behavioral problems must be monitored clinically as they start transitioning into real life. Having their newly-learned living skills and behaviors observed by professionals reveals the challenges clients have in adapting and changing behaviors.
Most newly clean and sober addicts relapse because they are unable to implement basic behavioral changes and/or establish a 12-step anonymous recovery program in the real world. It follows, then, that our prognosis for a client is determined by how well the individual is able to self-diagnose the disease during treatment and by how well they cultivate their support network.
I’m proud to say our success speaks volumes.
We’ve found that recovering alcoholics and addicts who experience sober support and real-life recovery DURING treatment can more adequately and permanently maintain a clean and sober life going forward.
We hope you’re ready to take a real step towards real-life recovery … with us.
We provide a safe, structured environment where one can flourish in early recovery. With regular, random drug and alcohol screening and 24-hour on-site staff supervision, our campus offers the consistency and accountability that our residents need to succeed. With a total availability of 25 beds in two men’s residences and 20 beds in three female residences Palm Beach Halfway is small enough that our staff can give residents the individual attention they deserve, yet large enough to offer a community experience.
Along with 24-hour supervision, residents are required to attend daily in-house meetings as well as off-site life skills and educational meetings twice-a-week. We offer recovery support services such as job placement assistance, referrals to outside medical and mental health practitioners and agencies, as needed, ongoing transportation assistance, and access to Twelve Step program resources.
Palm Beach Halfway raises the standard for the conventional sober living experience, providing a structured, supportive living environment that can fittingly be described as “home.” Amenities include swimming pools, fitness center membership, high-speed internet/ WiFi access, Digital HD television, group recreational outings and more. Named in honor of Cleveland Bell III, our Executive Director, Cleve’s Place offers an extension of Riverside House’s mission of guiding men and women convicted of crime into becoming productive members of society to other citizens in need.
Cleve’s Place offers a faith-based, non-denominational program to benefit less fortunate and at-risk citizens including homeless individuals, veterans, and individuals who need assistance getting back on track. Similar to Riverside House’s programs, our staff guide and encourage program participants through community and residential programs that emphasize personal accountability, family relationships and spiritual growth.
More over, Cleve’s Place provides a healthy, supportive environment and an opportunity for individuals to prepare to move into permanent housing. One of the program’s main goals is to provide affordable, three-quarter way transitional housing designed for short-term living-about 12 to 18 months.
The residents have their own beds, personal lockers, desks, and other essential amenities such as computers and Internet available to them on premises. They also benefit from job training, life skills coaching, referrals to community service providers, case management, and photo IDs in a structured and disciplined environment.
In its present state, Cleve’s Place is able to accept a select number of residents with the ultimate goal of growing to a 40-bed facility. Our first effort at extending transitional housing programs is being offered to male adults over 18 years of age who are dedicated to making better life decisions.
The Program Fee is individually structured depending on the resident’s income and employment status. These fees are modest in order to help the residents get on their feet, so contributions to offset the costs are truly appreciated!
We look forward to what the future has in store for us, and are thankful for the opportunity to serve, living by the words: “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45.

Cameron Villas is a transitional living recovery residence (sometimes referred to as a halfway house) designed to provide a safe and positive return to a sober, productive, and happy lifestyle. The first thirty to ninety days of recovery has proven to be a time vulnerable to relapse. It is crucial to provide those in early sobriety with the preventative measures proven to be successful in recovery. It is our contention that a dedicated effort is necessary after treatment to provide a smooth transition into a challenging environment. If you are convinced that a structured program of continued recovery is your goal, Cameron Villas will help.
